At Doris' house For those of us from the Korean community, March 1st is a very special day. Exactly 107 years ago, in 1919, the Korean people rose up in a peaceful independence movement, shouting for 'Liberty' and 'Justice.' We remember that our God is a God of Freedom and Deliverance . Whether it was the Israelites leaving Egypt or the Korean people seeking independence, God hears the cry of the oppressed. Yesterday, we celebrated not just a historical event, but the Spirit of Liberty that God gives to all His children. "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
